Bowantz has been the selected contractor for undertaking specialised weed control and environmental management project works within the Wingecarribee Swamp Special Catchment Area for client Water NSW & The NSW Office of Environment & Heritage since 2009.
By consistently meeting the objectives of the project and working compliantly to the specifications imposed on such a project we have shown our capacity to deliver on-ground works efficiently, safely and to stringent standards.
The site Wingecarribee Swamp is considered one of the best examples of a montane peatland environment within NSW. The swamp is a complex environment which contains a number of threatened vegetation types and threatened plants and animal species. The adjoining water catchment reservoir is also managed for potable water supplies making operational practice extremely important within our work zones.
