Some of the Bowantz team members were recently involved in a natural area restoration project with a couple of the traditional custodians of the land in Bendalong NSW. This rewarding project was located along the foreshore of Washerwomans Beach in Boat Harbour. Revegetation surrounding a culturally significant burial site with the Jerrinja Brothers on traditional Jerrinja Country was an educational and fun day for everybody involved. Several areas were revegetated as a part of this project from both tree vandalism sites and bushfire recovery areas that just needed a little help to recover completely. There are not too many offices better than this one with dolphin’s and abundant birdlife keeping us entertained. It was a great day with a great environmental and cultural outcome.
