Did You Know…?
If you buy a block of land between 1 & 40 Hectares that is zoned for development you can clear up to 0.5 of a hectare without having to enter The Biodiversity Offset Scheme.
Most development applications in NSW that require the clearing of vegetation or that occur upon mapped bushfire prone land it is compulsory to provide a flora and fauna impact report, landscape management plan, & bushfire assessment (BAL) report.
Ecological attributes such as native vegetation and habitat elements such as bush rocks, tree hollows, and creeks can significantly increase the potential for threatened plants and animals to be present in a landscape? Development activities in NSW are required to avoid, mitigate and offset potential impacts to threatened species. Good planning advice is the key to presenting achievable solutions and actions which compliment conservation and development.
Good environmental planning advice which aims to integrate and manage all facets of your development will almost certainly reduce planning and assessment delays and overwhelmingly contribute to obtaining successful outcomes from consent authorities and property insurers.
Some Words From Our Past Clients
“After buying our first block of land we knew very little about what was involved in turning that into a home. Bowantz was referred to us by a nearby landowner who recommended them. Their experience in the bush and capabilities in the development application process made the whole experience much less confusing than we first thought. The end result was we got the home we wanted that still feels like it has the beautiful bush setting surround whilst ticking all the legal boxes.”Daryl CartrightNorth Batemans Bay NSW
“Bowantz have been wonderful to deal with while going through the process of DA application for my property. They met me on sight to discuss what was required and regularly updated me on the progress of the report writing. I have been impressed with all their communications being honest and straightforward and they have gone out of their way to answer all my questions in ways that I can understand. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone in need!”Jodie HurleyBalmoral Village NSW
“We were completely satisfied by the environmental planning service provided to us by Dan at Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental. We were required to undertake an environmental impact assessment (EIA) as part of our development application which accounted for all facets of our development plans. Dan was able to provide useful advice and explain how all the elements of the development application integrate together, providing both the report and final planning documents we needed to submit our application. I would recommend Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental to anyone who requires environmental planning advice and needs help with putting together all elements of their development application”Terry WilkeTomerong NSW
